The short version: plans start at $1,999 a month with no long-term contract, you own everything we build, and we report on booked jobs rather than clicks. The questions above cover the details owners ask most often. Below we add a little context on the three topics that come up in almost every first conversation with a Simcoe County trade.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
Plans run from $1,999 a month on month-to-month terms, or $1,499 a month on annual billing, with 13% HST added for Ontario clients. Ad spend is separate and paid to the platform directly.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. Plans are month to month with 30 days' notice. Annual billing is a choice that lowers the rate, not a requirement.
How long until I see results?
Profile and website fixes can lift calls within weeks. Ads produce calls as soon as they run. Organic search builds over six to twelve months. We'll tell you which to expect from each piece of work.
My business is seasonal. Should I stop marketing in winter?
Usually not entirely. Lower your ad spend to match your capacity, but keep your Google profile active and use the quiet months to pre-sell spring work. Restarting from zero every April is slower and more expensive.
We hired an agency before and it didn't work. Why would this be different?
We can't promise it will be, but we can show you how we'll judge it: booked jobs and cost per booked job, by month and by town, reported in plain language. If the numbers don't add up, you can leave on 30 days' notice.
Who owns the website and ad accounts?
You do. Your domain, website, content, Google Business Profile and ad accounts belong to your business. If you leave, you keep them.
What do your reports show?
Calls, texts and emails by source, booked jobs where you can share them, cost per booked job, and visibility in the towns you target. We explain what changed and what we're doing next.
Can you promise first-page rankings?
No. Nobody controls Google's results, and anyone who promises a ranking is guessing or bending the rules. We commit to the work, the reporting and honest explanations.
Do you only work with HVAC companies?
No. We work with plumbers, electricians, roofers, septic and well firms, dock builders, landscapers, renovators and other home-service businesses. Our published case studies are results from our HVAC work, and we say so.
Can you help me reach cottage owners who live in Toronto?
Yes. Search ads can target people interested in your Simcoe County locations, not only people physically there, and we write pages and messages for owners who manage their property from a distance.
Do you cover my town?
We work across Barrie and all 16 Simcoe County member municipalities, plus nearby areas many local trades also serve, such as Orillia and parts of Muskoka. The areas page has the detail.
Are you a contractor or a lead-referral service?
Neither. We don't do any trade work, and we don't sell your leads to anyone else. We market your business and advise you on growth.
Do I need a new website?
Not always. We audit what you have first. If your current site is fast and clear, we improve it rather than replace it.
Seasonality and budget
Seasonal businesses need a budget that moves. The most common mistake we see is a flat monthly ad budget in a market where demand swings sharply between May, October and February.
The fix isn't complicated. Decide what you can afford to pay for one booked job, estimate how many extra jobs your crew can take each month, and multiply. That gives you a different ceiling for each month. Our seasonal campaign planning service does this formally, and the guide to seasonal ad budget maths walks through it step by step.
Contracts, ownership and leaving
Plans are month to month, and you own every account. That's deliberate: if we're not earning your business, you shouldn't be trapped.
Before you sign with any agency, ask three questions:
- Whose name is the domain registered under?
- Who is the owner, not just a user, of the Google Business Profile and ad account?
- What happens to the website if you stop paying?
If the answers aren't "yours", "yours" and "you keep it", be cautious. More detail on plans is on the pricing page.
Results and reporting
We report results in plain language, monthly, against the targets we agreed at the start. You'll see where calls came from, what they cost, and which towns and services are working.
What we won't do is promise a ranking, a lead count or a return. Results depend on your trade, competition, budget, reviews and how quickly calls are answered. You can see results from our HVAC work, with links to each live site, on the results page.
Questions specific to Simcoe County
A few questions come up with Barrie-area owners far more than elsewhere. They're worth answering here even though they don't fit neatly in the list above.
"Should I market in the GTA?" Only if you mean it. Plenty of cottage owners search from Toronto, Vaughan or Markham, and reaching them is sensible. Advertising your services to people who'd need you at their GTA home is a different business, with different competitors, and usually a poor fit for a Simcoe crew.
"Is Barrie too competitive for a small firm?" Central Barrie is the most crowded search market in the county. A small business often does better by owning two or three nearby municipalities, such as Springwater, Essa or Innisfil, and treating central Barrie as a bonus rather than the main target.
"What if my best months are already full?" Then the marketing job is different: move work into the shoulder months, protect your reputation, and raise prices or hire before you buy more peak-season calls. Spending to generate demand you can't meet is the most expensive mistake in a seasonal market.
"Do I need pages for every township I serve?" No. Pages work where you have real jobs, photos and local detail to show. The areas page explains how we decide which municipalities deserve their own page.
"Can you work around my season?" Yes. Onboarding is lighter if it starts in a quiet month, so many shoreline trades begin with us between November and February, when there's time to talk and fix things before the spring rush.
