The three plans

Each plan suits a different stage of business. The figures below are as listed on Trades.Agency's pricing page on 22 October 2026.

Plan Month to month Annual billing What it's for
Growth $1,999/month $1,499/month The essentials for a trade that already has steady work: SEO, profile, ads
Elite $3,999/month $2,999/month For trades covering several towns: extra channels, and half off Trades.Agency site design
Enterprise $7,999/month $5,999/month Your own marketing team with priority support; any website package designed and built at no charge

All plans are month to month with 30 days' notice to cancel. Annual commitments get the lower rate. Eligible trades businesses also get a free 30-minute first consultation, which is separate from the paid plans.

What drives the cost for a Simcoe County trade

The plan fee is only part of what you'll spend on marketing. Four things decide the real total.

  • How many towns you want to serve. Covering Barrie alone is a smaller job than covering Barrie, Innisfil, Oro-Medonte and the Georgian Bay shoreline, each with its own pages and targeting.
  • How seasonal you are. A business with sharp peaks needs more planning and more frequent budget changes than one with steady demand.
  • Ad spend. Paid to Google directly. It should rise and fall with your season rather than staying flat.
  • The state of your website. If it needs rebuilding, that's either a separate cost or covered by the Elite discount or Enterprise inclusion.

A worked example for a seasonal business

Here's a simple way to test whether a plan makes sense before you talk to anyone.

Say you're on the Growth plan with annual billing at $1,499 a month plus 13% HST, which is about $1,694 a month or $20,326 a year. Your average job is worth $700 and your gross margin is 40%, so each job contributes about $280.

To cover the plan fee alone, you'd need roughly 68 extra jobs a year, or between five and six a month. Then add your ad spend, which needs to be recovered on top. If your crew has room for 10 extra jobs in each of the six shoulder months, the arithmetic can work. If you're full every month already, the money is better spent on hiring than on marketing.

This is the kind of calculation we'll do with you on the first call. Our guide to seasonal ad budget maths shows how to set the ad side.

How to choose a plan

Match the plan to your stage and to how many towns you serve, not to the size of the logo on the truck.

  • Growth fits an established business serving Barrie and a few nearby municipalities, that wants solid local SEO, a seasonal calendar and managed ads.
  • Elite fits a business covering several parts of the county, or one that needs a better website and wants the design discount.
  • Enterprise fits multi-crew operations across large areas, or businesses that want a dedicated team and a new website included.

If you're unsure, start with the smaller plan. Plans are month to month, so you can move up once the first months prove the numbers.

What you own, whatever plan you choose

You keep everything: the website, domain, content, Google Business Profile, ad accounts and data. If you leave, nothing is held back. That's a standard we apply on every plan.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a long-term contract?

No. You pay month by month, and 30 days' notice ends the plan. Annual billing is optional and simply lowers the monthly rate.

Is ad spend included?

No. What you spend on Google or other platforms is billed by them directly to your account. Our plan fee covers planning, management and reporting.

Do prices include tax?

No. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and Barrie-area clients add Ontario's 13% HST.

Can I pause in the slow season?

Plans run month to month, so you can cancel with notice. In practice, most seasonal businesses do better by lowering ad spend in quiet months and keeping the foundation work going, so the spring restart is faster.

Is the first consultation free?

Yes. Eligible trades businesses get a free 30-minute first consultation, separate from any paid plan.
